Spawning from the mosquito infested sweltering heat of Houston Texas, $LUT $TUD emerged out of the city's vast mecca of southern rap. $LUT $TUD is a rap group that has been on the radar of hip hop heads since their incarnation in 2007. With animated lyricism and creative visuals on full display, $LUT $TUD's music is seen as a breath of fresh air. The group consists of Geeves SODMG, Chip, & Dirty Jerm. After viral success started knocking on their last album, "Balls Deep" they have returned with "Git*Lit" a single and e.p. of the same name.
Since collaborating with fellow Houston native "Freestyle Bully" for the record "Pourin' Up", they continued working on multiple songs together. This included a video for "Walk Around" which premiered on Blank TV. Through Freestyle Bully, $LUT $TUD began featuring with Riff Raff, and BarZinatra (Str8 Barz). These features propelled the group to a wider audience which garnered the hit singles "Everybody's Calling" & "FWM". $LUT $TUD is featured on the "State 2 State" mixtape and on Monster Labless Productions "Test Samples" mixtape volume 1, 2, & 3. They have also featured with Dallas rapper "Michael Sauce" (Mic Feelz), UK's "Big Money B" (Snus Man), Boston's "Lean Team", as well as featuring dozens of local Texas rap artists.
